Wet Plate Portraiture

Daniel offers Wet Plate Collodion portraits at his darkroom in Peckham. They are wonderfully unique images and perfect for memorialising family, childhood and one another. Made using a British process from 1851, their detail far surpasses those of digital imagery.

Prints are made on site, though digital scans can also be made in extremely high resolution at the studio for equally brilliant reproduction digitally and to print more of. Moreover, you can recieve your image in other forms: Carbon Print, Albumen Print and Salt Print. Daniel can show examples during your shoot if you are interested.
